Audit and Assurance
Aiello, Goodrich and Teuscher's audit staff has many years of experience auditing governmental and not-for-profit entities, as well as the performance of reviews and compilations of financial statements for a variety of clients. We provide all three levels of financial statement assurance services:
- Audit: Audits of financial statements provide reasonable (but not absolute) assurance that the financial statements are prepared in accordance with various authoritative standards, including the Single Audit Act and Government Auditing Standards.
- Review: Reviews are the expression of limited assurance that financial statements are presented in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles or other authoritative standards. The limited assurance is gained primarily through inquiry and the application of analytical procedures.
- Compilation: A compilation is based upon client information, and provides no assurance as to compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or other basis of accounting, and is designed primarily for internal client use.
